SHERA products are made from fibre cement and finished to look like wood. This allows building or home owners the choice of having the aesthetics of wood while doing their part in conserving our environment. Manufactured from autoclaved, specially treated cellulose fibre, Portland cement and refined sand. Cellulose fibre used is of fast growing species from economic plantation so products shall be non-asbestos. Due to adoption of special manufacturing process, the fibre-cement board acquires the strength and durability of cement and easy workability of wood work as well as dimensional stability by autoclaved curing

 Fire, Sound and Heat Insulated Properties

            Fire Resistance:

Fibre-cement flat sheet is highly fire resistant and has been classified as incombustible material in many countries. Tested in accordance with British standard, fire test on building material and structures part 5, 6,7 classified it as class 0

            Sound Insulation:

Air-borne sound reduction varies between 24-28 dB for the frequency range 200-2,000 Hz according to thickness of the board. When used in composite partitioning, a reduction of over 60 dB can be achieved with suitable construction.
